This is the support thread for the Where is Poppy – Your First Custom Entity.

If you have any questions or issues with setting up your own custom entity or the tutorial do let me know and I will do my best to help.

I have been following your tutorial and the farthest I have gotten was making the options for scaling the mesh. The reason being when I did was because after debugging my mod or running it in Jackhammer, half-life crashes and I get either an "ntwdll" / "access to xxxxx.dll is denied". I spent weeks trying to get this to work but to no avail. I repeated the tutorial a second time and took a break for a couple weeks, stopping before the part where you program the different methods of collision and the error showed up again. Keep in mind, this only happens when I have my static mesh in the map. This is what shows up on the end of the output when I debug half-life: "

BAD: -1:svc_bad
Wrote erroneous message to buffer.dat
Host_Error: backwards mins/maxs
Unhandled exception at 0x77641107 (ntdll.dll) in hl.exe: 0xC0000027: Unwind exception code.

The program '[122188] hl.exe' has exited with code 0 (0x0).
