Valve release an update to the Source SDK to include new sources for compiling Linux and OSX versions of the engine. Existing mods can update to Steam pipe through the SDK.

This version of the SDK includes support for Virtual reality.

Hammer and the other SDK tools will ship with their respective games as the SDK is slowly phased out in favor of each game having their own toolset.
